It’s holiday dinner season! Whether you’re attending a potluck, or hosting dinner these crockpot carrots are great for this time of year. With only a few ingredients, and very little prep time it’s the perfect way to add a delicious side without adding a lot of extra work to your to-do list.
You’ll need two 2lb bags of baby carrots, a stick of butter, brown sugar, some honey, and a bit of water and cook on high for 3 hour stirring occasionally until desired tenderness is reached.
Ingredients
4 pounds of baby carrots
1 stick of butter
1 cup light brown sugar
Honey
Directions
Add carrots, butter (I chop mine to pieces so it melts and cooks in faster and more evenly), brown sugar, a drizzle of honey over the top, and a about a 1/4 cup of water (just to keep the bottom carrots from burning at first).
Set the crockpot to high for about 3 hours, stirring occasionally until your carrots reach your desired tenderness.
