Patriots Day!

Patriots Day is held on the 3rd Monday of April, in the commemoration of the 1775 battles of Concord and Lexington which started the Revolutionary War. The day is celebrated in only a few states, although I believe it should be celebrated in all parts of our Union.

A strong sense of Patriotism is the glue of a country. It shows that we know our neighbors and ourselves stand for the same things, and that we stand together. While we all have our own opinions we can all agree that everyone in this great nation should have the freedom to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

I believe those things are worth standing for and celebrating. The simplest ways to protect those freedoms is being patriotic. If we all band together in our patriotism it cannot be hid that these things are important to us as a whole.

Sharing your patriotism is easy! Fly our flag. Wear our colors. Celebrate our holidays and traditions. Be a good human that represents what our country is to represent to the world. People spend every last penny they have to buy a ticket for the opportunity to live in here with us. If people from outside of our borders understand and value the opportunity and morals of this country, we should too!
